Vacation Bound

We just got a phone call from the parents the other night. The conversation we had was a bitter/sweet one. My grandma is going to be visiting my sister and parents at the end of July. She is 86 years old and has been extremely healthy! Never had issues, always have something planned to do every single night of the week. You could not keep up with her! Until early this year. As of today she has already been admitted 4 times due to heart issues. Long story short she has never met our 3rd daughter and really have only met the other 2 girls once. She is wanting to see them so bad. So my parents decided they were going to fly us up there that way my grandma can meet her grand babies! At the same time this may be the last time I ever get to see my grandma. We are extremely excited to get back home! Its been over 1 1/2 years since we have seen family and friends and we are extremely excited to see my grandma. We have a lot to do in 3 weeks, you know how events come quickly and we have not told the girls yet! They will be so excited when they find out the day of that we are getting on an air plane to see family! The hubby has to get back home sometime in the middle of August but I plan on staying there with the girls for a couple months! Were taking full advantage of this opportunity of seeing family and friends.

Today I am featured on a fellow shop owner and blogger! We did a q&a portion and then she drew me! How exciting this was! If you want to read more about my shop and what inspires me please swing by her page. Just click on the photo and it will take you to her blog. She did an outstanding job drawing me! I will be printing this and framing it definitely! I just started my small shop back in January and have come just a little ways. I know it takes longer then 6 months and I plan on getting to my dreams one day! I enjoy making items for little ones and seeing my creations on customers.

Part Day Preschool/Graduation day

My oldest graduates today from part day preschool! I'm super proud of her and cant wait to see her get her little diploma! I will most likely be homeschooling for some of the time come school time in September. Pre-school is not a required education and you have to pay here. There is a school that offers it for free. Your child gets assessed though and basically if your too smart you don't get accepted. Seriously? Is that even fair? So numbers, shapes, counting, fun activities it will probably be! And thank goodness for Pinterest! Lots of fun projects and activities on their to keep my littles busy and learning.

Here she is! graduated from Part day Preschool!
Here is a picture with some of the other kids in the class!
We are so proud of how far she has come!

Brand rep Positions

We are super excited to announce that Kendyl and Kinsley have been chosen for a couple handmade shops to be brand reps for and to be a part of a great community! I am currently trying to get our middle child ( Jaidyn ) a brand rep position but for now its no big deal.
If your not following this shops listed below definitely go check them out! They have awesome handmade product, great prices and they are the sweetest owners!

Our first shop both the girls represent is @Lemnadedesigns

She makes headbands, scarves and barefoot sandals. I love the simplicity of the single flowers.

Our next shop that Kinsley represents is @Mayden_Inspired

She has the CUTEST booties ever! They are super soft, fit like a glove and for the younger babies she puts the grippy bottoms on. These are always on Kinsley. They are absolutely perfect!
And of course the leopard head wrap she is wearing is from yours truly. ;) @glitterandmint
The next shop Kinsley was selected for was @islabugdesigns

She makes headbands and turbans for mommy and me. A girl can never have too much leopard print or pink thats what I plan on telling my girls :)
The next adorable shop Kinsley was chosen for is @myabeebowtique.

Her shop is all about GLITTER & SPARKLE! And I can not get over how gorgeous these bows are!
She has great prices on them as well and discount codes all the time! Be sure to check her shop out!
And our last shop for now ;) that Kinsley represents is @madisonskyeandco

She makes these fun floppy/messy bows in all sorts of colors!
How cute is this one for the 4th of July that is coming up!

Ammie and Popi come to visit

April 9th my parents came from Washington state to visit for 10 days. We haven't seen them for over a year and it was a great visit! Here are some pictures with the grandkids.
I absolutely love this shot of all of them together. They sure do love there Ammie and Popi!
The girls on their new bikes that Ammie and Popi bought them. They were so excited!
This was there first time meeting baby. Baby K was 6 months in this picture.
She took right to them as well. Which was awesome. I figured she was going to be a little afraid but not one bit!
We definitely had a busy but fun weekend. We went to Bush Gardens, The jump house, shopping. And even daddy and mommy got 2 date nights ! We haven't had a date night in over a year and a half.
It was super nice to be able to spend time with him.

Busy Life

Man!! What a crazy last month it has been! I have had no time to hop on the computer and blog! With my 5 month old teething right now and throwing the biggest fit ever at night not wanting to go to bed and then on top of that wanting to wake up 3 to 4 times a night to feed, I am exhausted! Then my oldest got sick with a 24 hr flu and I was up all night with her. To be honest I haven't even hit the gym or been eating very properly. But thats ok right? As long as I get back on the train and go. So today is March 1st. I think I have enough energy to start working out again. But I am going to have to do my workouts at home all month long. My hubby just left this morning for 3 weeks to Pennsylvania for warrior leadership school. I am going to miss him so much! He is my best friend and I hate being away from him. But luckily it's only 3 weeks and not deployment. I have been somewhat busy though this past month with re-launching my etsy shop and opened up a page on Instagram to sell my headbands. I also use to sew a long time ago. And for valentines my wonderful hubby bought me a sewing machine! So I have been working on new projects for my store!

Welcome

Hey guys! I thought I would say hi and welcome you to my blog. I am a mother to 3 beautiful girls ages 4, 2 & 4 months. A wife to a soldier and currently I stay at home. I love to craft , capture memories with my d7000 and have a new but old hobby of sewing. I also started a new life change as of October 2014. I am a paleo/primal eater and I workout 4x a week. After I hit my weight loss goal I want to start building muscle and start defining my body. I have created this blog for others to enjoy this as well with the same interests as me. This blog will be about our family, a look into the day to day along with my fitness lifestyle.Feel free to leave comments any time! I am looking forward to meeting you!
